In our first Alumni Chronicle, we showcase the journey of Trent Kniese, former 2019 College Captain. Trent pursued his passion for public speaking and Journalism, securing a position as a Channel 7 News producer/reporter in Harvey Bay. Trent's positive and ambitious nature has left a lasting impression on our College, and his journey serves as a source of inspiration for current students, reinforcing the values of courage and perseverance.

In this edition of the Alumni Chronicle, we celebrate the journey of Kris McCarthy, former Olympian and proud JPC alumnus. Kris, an 800-metre runner, was selected to represent Australia at just 20 years old in the 2000 Sydney Olympics - a dream come true early in his career. Despite the challenges he faced, Kris' determination carried him through, and he went on to win a bronze medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. His story continues to inspire our College community, emphasising the importance of goal-setting, resilience, and the power of lifelong friendships.
