Time & Space event for Year 8 Students and their Father Figure

The College invites Fathers and Father Figures of our Year 8 students to a Time & Space event.

This innovative single evening program is an event we have planned especially for our Year 8 students and their fathers (or male mentors). The purpose of the night is to stop and acknowledge the journey both you and your child have made to arrive at this moment. Families will be led through an engaging evening, which involves both discussion groups and ‘one-on-one’ conversations with your child / student.

It is a big thing when our children move through their times of transition. Their teenage years accelerate quickly as their ride on the adolescent rollercoaster continues. They are growing up and the opportunity to reflect on the joys and challenges of this time in your lives, is one  not to be missed.

We know that families come in all shapes and sizes and not all fathers can attend an evening such as this. A mentor such as a grandfather, uncle or family friend is welcome to attend.

What to Bring: Treasured Item 

We ask you to bring a treasured item or symbol that represents something about your relationship with your child. Please keep this item a secret from your child until the special time occurs on the evening. The item that you choose could be a first outfit, a photo, a hospital bracelet, a memento or trophy,  a piece of work that you have kept or a photo of your child.
