Lead Cast Reflections

Matilda (Year 9) Veruca Salt

"The best thing about his year's Production is that there are so many leads and that kinda gives way more people the chance to be able to speak up and take on a bigger role. There are so many people involved this year,  so many people to create new memories with and experience this awesome thing with."

Sheridan  (Year 10) Grandma Josephine

"During the Production this year I've found it to be really engaging, the overall props and lighting have been a massive upgrade. The cast this year has grown enormously with over 60 Year 7 students involved."

Emily (Year 7) Grandma Georgina

"It's been really fun being part of the cast and show. This is my first show and first year at JPC. It's so fun and cool to see how people can make things different and inspire other people. Everyone is so helpful and encouraging, they assist you if you need help with dancing or singing."

Oliver (Year 10) Augustus Gloop

"Being a lead this year has been scary, at first I was a bit nervous getting involved because I wasn't very familiar with the other students or cast mates however over the term I have gotten to know each one of them personally and made some great friends. After Production has ended, I know the friendships I have made along the way will remain."

This is my first Production and I have been so welcomed into this community. The atmosphere is like no other that I have been apart of, I've gotten involved in a lot of extracurricular activities at JPC and nothing can compare to this! I'm so happy to be able to get involved in the Production, it has blown my expectations. The staff put so much effort into the show, they do so much to make it a memorable experience for the students and it's truely infectious, it makes all the students so passionate about the show!

Bridie (Year 11) Mrs Gloop

Massimo (Year 12) Mr Salt

"Being part of Production in my final year at JPC is awesome,  I love the cast, I love being apart of the family we have here and we have such an amazing Director Miss Looker. While it can be at times stressful, it's always super fun and it's amazing to see everything come together."

Molly (Year 10) Violet Beauregarde

"It’s so amazing to part of the Production family, it’s a great atmosphere, everyone is super supportive and even if you mess up everyone is so accepting and able to help you out. I love the fact that we have had the opportunity to bond with new people and make so many friends. I would recommend the Production to anyone considering it."

Molly (Year 10) Mr Beauregarde

"As all of us leads have been in previous shows, we have brought what we have loved from previous shows to this show making it bigger and better."

Hannah  (Year 10) Mrs Teavee

"I'm really excited about this year's Production, I've made a family here and so many new friends. Mrs TV is a great role for me as I get to make people laugh and I love spreading my humour around."

Wilson  (Year 12) Grandpa Joe

"This year the Production has been so great. It's my last year at the College and it will be my last Production.  I've put all my efforts and learnings from past Productions and channeled it into this show. Go out with a bang!"

Production this year has been the greatest production I have been a part of. The cast this year is so good, the show is so much fun, there is so much nuance. The fun just doesn’t stop. The show has been so good, my magnum opus, it's the best performance I've ever done!
