Fun, friends, and new experiences for Year 7

25 February 2025

Our Year 7 students have had an exciting start to the year, participating in three activities designed to build friendships and strengthen their connection to the College community.

The first adventure took them to Luna Park, where students embraced the excitement of the rides and the fun of exploring the park. Some sought out the thrill rides, while others enjoyed a more relaxed atmosphere, all while forming new bonds.

The following week, students continued their adventure at Cable Park, embracing even more outdoor excitement. They had a blast at the Aqua Fun Park, navigating inflatable obstacles and slides and splashing across bridges. The fun continued with a friendly round of mini-golf, enjoying the 18-hole course. The day also included a thrilling experience at Climb Melbourne, Australia’s newest high-rope adventure, featuring five levels of exciting challenges.

The final Year 7 activity was a trip to Gumbuya World, offering even more opportunities for making memories. There was laughter, excitement, and plenty of screams as they braved rollercoasters, raced down waterslides, and relaxed in the lazy river, making the most of every moment with their friends. With perfect weather once again, it was the ideal way to finish up this chapter of their Year 7 experience.

These activities provided the perfect opportunity for students to step outside their comfort zones, connect with their peers, and feel part of the JPC community. The friendships they are building will continue to grow and strengthen as they share more experiences together.
