Our Year 11 students recently participated in a transformative one-day Retreat as part of their Religious Education program. This enriching experience was designed to foster personal and spiritual growth, providing students with opportunities to engage in team building, communication, prayer, reflection, and leadership activities.
The Retreat offered a unique chance for students to step away from their usual routines and immerse themselves in a day of self-discovery and connection. Through creative tasks, obstacle courses, and collaborative challenges, students not only sharpened their communication and teamwork skills but also engaged in profound personal reflection. These activities encouraged them to explore their own beliefs, values, and goals, while also deepening their connections with one another.
Such retreats are often among the most cherished memories of a student's time at the College. They provide a space for students to bond in meaningful ways, creating a sense of unity and support as they prepare for their final year of secondary school.
We hope that our Year 11 students left this Retreat with strengthened relationships, renewed purpose, and lasting memories that will inspire and sustain them throughout the remainder of their journey at John Paul College.
