R U OK? Day provided a wonderful opportunity for meaningful conversations and checking in with those around us.
At John Paul College, we observed the day by focusing on connection and care. Both staff and students received positive message cards and chocolate treats to remind everyone to spread kindness and support one another.
Staff enjoyed a morning tea with cupcakes and engaging discussions, and they were deeply appreciative of the thoughtful messages on the staff affirmation wall.
Lunchtime was filled with excitement, featuring handball competitions, Oreo rolling, guessing games, and a popular photo booth. These activities were designed to bring everyone together and emphasise the importance of the R U OK? message.
R U OK? Day is about listening, kindness, and support. At JPC, we are dedicated to making these values part of our daily routine. Let’s continue to build a supportive community and look out for each other every day.
