07 November 2024

The College’s inaugural House MasterChef competition was a resounding success! Students impressed with a diverse array of entrées, main courses, desserts, and platters - all featuring lemon as the key ingredient. The Food Technology rooms were filled with enthusiasm, as students showcased their culinary skills and creativity.

Top scorers were celebrated across the categories of entrée, main, dessert, and platter, with recognition for both junior and senior divisions. Congratulations to our junior high scorers: Jack K and Ethan H (Year 7), Jess H and Ysabella D (Year 8), and Sonny S and Elijah B (Year 9). In the senior division, our top scorers were Zac H, Klaudia D, Dylan M, Ryder S, Rebecca C, Jasmine S, Heidi J, and Ella-Grace L (all Year 11).

D’Houet House excelled, claiming 1st place and becoming the first-ever House MasterChef champions. Chaminade House followed in 2nd place, with Olsen House in 3rd and Turner House in 4th. Congratulations to all Houses for their fantastic efforts!

A special thank you to our staff and student judges for their time and expertise, helping to select the standout dishes. The points earned from this event will contribute to the 2025 House Competition. Well done to everyone who helped make this event memorable!
